Eight senators from opposition events have raised the alarm over an alleged plan to impose a minority chief on members of the tenth Senate.

In a press release collectively signed on Saturday, the senators stated some individuals inside and out of doors the Senate chamber are planning to trigger a disaster among the many minority events with a purpose to weaken their energy within the higher home.

The senators that signed the assertion are Mohammed Aliero (PDP, Kebbi Central); Seriake Dickson (PDP, Bayelsa West) ; Aminu Tambuwal (PDP, Sokoto South) and Abdul Ningi (PDP, Bauchi Central).

Others are Abba Moro (PDP, Benue North); Ezenwa Onyewuchi (PDP, Imo East); Sumaila Kawu (NNPP, Kano South) and Ifeanyi Ubah (YPP, Anambra South).
