
French rolling inventory producer Alstom has signed a contract with Railpool to provide 50 Traxx Common multi-purpose locomotives throughout Europe, in a contract price €260m ($288m).
European rail leasing firm Railpool got down to unfold the Traxx locomotive operations throughout eight international locations, together with Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxemburg and Poland.
The Traxx Common locomotives can pull each passenger and freight companies and function at speeds as much as 200km/h.
