This week, Assistant Secretary-Common (ASG) for Europe, Central Asia and the Americas Miroslav Jenča visited Armenia and Georgia. On 17 November in Yerevan, he met with Deputy International Minister of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan and mentioned UN-Armenia relations, assist for Karabakh Armenians and the state of affairs within the South Caucasus, together with views on the peace course of. ASG Khiari addresses ASEAN-UN Regional Dialogue on Local weather, Peace and Safety  

This week, the ASEAN-UN Regional Dialogue on Local weather, Peace and Safety was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, collectively organized by the Ministry of International Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation and the United Nations. On 21 November, Secretary-Common António Guterres introduced the appointment of Ramtane Lamamra of Algeria as his Private Envoy for Sudan.

Winners of Nice Lakes pictures competitors

On 20 November, the United Nations Workplace at Nairobi (UNON) hosted a photograph exhibit to mark the end result of the “The Nice Lakes Area Via Your Lens” picture contest organized by the Workplace of the Particular Envoy of the Secretary-Common for the Nice Lakes area (OSESG-GL). The exhibit supplied a platform to acknowledge the contestants’ work and to make clear the various narratives of the area. It was launched by the Particular Envoy alongside the Democratic Republic of the Congo Coordinator of the Nationwide Oversight Mechanism (NOM) of the Peace and Safety Cooperation (PSC) Framework.
