Nigeria: NLC, TUC Direct Kwara Employees to Resume Work Wednesday

The Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Kwara State, Comrade Muritala Olayinka on Tuesday, directed the putting employees within the state to renew work on Wednesday.

Olayinka gave the directive at a joint assembly comprising the management of the NLC and the Commerce Union Congress (TUC) in Ilorin, the state’s capital.

The NLC chairman, who addressed the State Government Committee alongside his TUC counterpart, Comrade AbdulRahman Onikijipa, requested members of associates of each unions to renew at their respective locations of labor from Wednesday.

Onikijipa, on his half, thanked members of the organised labour for his or her bodily and ethical help because the starting of the battle.

Declaring that the labour was not averse to negotiation on the brand new minimal wage, the TUC urged the federal government to indicate dedication and current wage that might be in tandem with the buying energy of the plenty.
