The union made the decision at a press convention in Abuja on Wednesday.

“We start with this press convention, with a clarion name on the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to instantly relieve the IGP, Kayode Egbetokun of his appointment as IGP.

“Our concern comes from the truth that a public officer who misleads the president is inflicting confusion within the nation and should result in chaos which is antithetical to his responsibility as a police officer,” it is chairperson, Adoji Adoyi, mentioned.

The union contains the Affiliation of Senior Civil Servants of Nigerian (ASCSN) and Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU).
