President Ramkalawan Conveys Message of Condolence and Pays Tribute to his Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates yesterday, the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan formally conveyed his sympathy by means of the signing the condolence ebook, this morning on the UAE Embassy in Victoria.

The President was accompanied by the Vice-President Mr Ahmed Afif and the Minister for Overseas Affairs and Tourism, Mr Sylvestre Radegonde who additionally conveyed their condolences. Additionally current was the UAE performing chargé d’affaires, Mr Abdulla Alketbi.

In his message of sympathy the President wrote:

“On behalf of the individuals of Seychelles, the federal government and on my private behalf, I want to categorical our deepest condolences to the household, the federal government and the individuals of the UAE on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He can be remembered as a sterling chief who not solely influenced the event of the UAE, but additionally helped in making the world a greater place. The sturdy ties of friendship between our two nations have been solidified by means of his private love for our individuals and land. We are going to ceaselessly cherish his contributions” 

The President will journey to the UAE this night, to attend the official funeral ceremony of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
