The Home Committee on International Affairs has advisable the supply of a finances line value Shs4 billion and Shs2 billion to the Ministry of International Affairs, to cater for post-summit Non-Aligned Motion and G77+China actions respectively, for the following three years.

The committee’s Deputy Chairperson, Hon. Fred Opolot, instructed MPs on the Funds Committee that no funds had been supplied for post-summit actions, albeit that Uganda’s International Coverage is applied by the Ministry of International Affairs.
“The secretariats accountable for the Non-Aligned Motion can be charged with internet hosting and collaborating in conferences at diplomatic and technical ranges, and making ready paperwork according to the result doc amongst others,” Opolot famous.

Gomba District Lady Consultant, Hon. Sylvia Nayebale, reiterated the necessity to avail funds for the ministry’s worldwide obligations.
