ECOWAS Fee and the European Union Fee Re-inforce Relationship via a Structured Dialogue on Battle Prevention and Peace Mediation

Throughout the context of a shared dedication to deepening regional and worldwide peace and safety partnerships, the ECOWAS Fee and the European Union Fee are holding the primary version of a Structured Dialogue on Battle Prevention and Peace Mediation in Brussels, Belgium, on January 23, 2024.
The two-day technical assembly is a follow-up to the ECOWAS-EU Senior Officers Assembly, and the 23rd ECOWAS-EU Ministerial Dialogue held in Brussels, Belgium in January and February 2023 respectively, throughout which each organizations reiterated their dedication to strengthening regional and worldwide peace and safety cooperation within the spirit of equitable partnerships with a view to offering efficient and sustainable options to political, safety,
safety, financial, humanitarian, and environmental challenges.
The assembly affords each organisations the chance to share experiences and classes discovered in battle prevention, early warning and peace mediation efforts. It additionally serves as a platform for brainstorming and figuring out concrete programmes to be collectively carried out, together with a method ahead for an enhanced regional and worldwide peace and safety, bearing in mind, shared rules of complementarity and efficient coordination of interventions.
