Guinea: Mohammed Vi Mosque in Conakry to Be Formally Open On Friday

Rabat — In accordance with the Excessive Directions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Devoted, might God help Him, the Mohammed VI Basis of African Ulema, in excellent coordination with the related Guinean authorities, will proceed with the official opening of the Mohammed VI Mosque in Conakry, on the event of the Prayer of Friday 18 Ramadan 1445 A.H., similar to March 29, 2024.

Throughout this prayer, the preaching might be delivered by the consultant of the Supreme Council of Moroccan Ulema, with the participation of eminent personalities from the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Guinea, the Mohammed VI Basis of African Ulema introduced in a press release.

On this event, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Conakry, with the participation of the Mohammed VI Basis of African Ulema, will set up an official Iftar ceremony on the Mohammed VI Mosque in Conakry, in honor of official Guinean spiritual authorities and diplomatic representations accredited to the Republic of Guinea, the assertion stated.

The Mohammed VI Mosque in Conakry, whose development works have been kicked off by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Devoted, might God help Him, on February 24, 2017, has been constructed to genuine Moroccan architectural requirements, with a capability of over 3. 000 worshippers, on a floor space of 1 hectare. It includes a big prayer corridor, a convention room, a library, a Qur’anic college, a industrial space, an administrative division and inexperienced areas.

The constructing of the Mohammed VI Mosque in Conakry is meant to have fun prayers, educate the Holy Quran and disseminate knowledge, as a part of the fraternal relationship between the Guinean and Moroccan peoples.
