Czech multimodal transport producer Škoda Group has acquired electrical parts OEM Cegelec. The corporate has been renamed Electrical Elements because it joins the Group operations.
Cegelec was owned by Vinci Energies, a part of the French VINCI group, till Škoda Group bought 100% of Cegelec shares. The corporate’s manufacturing facility and headquarters are in Prague, Czechia.
The engineering agency produces electrical parts for trams, metro and suburban rolling inventory. It’s beforehand been contracted to modernise rolling inventory with ČKD Praha.
